Four things worth sending.
A speaking or CLE inquiry. Include the audience, the format, a proposed date, the jurisdiction, and whether CLE credit is needed.
A correction. Point to the passage, the source, or the term you think is wrong. Material corrections are noted in the piece itself.
An anonymized failure example. Describe what the system appeared to establish and what turned out to be wrong or incomplete. Do not send privileged, confidential, client-identifying, or employer-proprietary material. Nothing you send is published without your permission.
A question about evaluating a workflow or a claim. Describe the problem you are trying to assess. Leave the confidential facts out of the first email.
Sending an email does not create an attorney-client relationship, and I do not give legal advice through this inbox. Attorney advertising in some jurisdictions.
